Part of a multi phase install, Trade Sync has completed the first install phase of the Zum Bus Shelters in Brampton. Zum is a City of Brampton initiative that will introduce Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) services along the City’s key north-south and east-west corridors. The first phase connecting the east and west included the install of 27 shelters on Queen Street. Each shelter is out fitted with real-time schedule information so bus riders knew where Zum vehicles are and when the next one is coming. Trade Sync coordinated all the install activity such as working with the manufacture Enseicom to deliver the shelters on site and the city of Brampton engineering and transportation departments to ensure proper lane closer. The first install phase was completed fall 2010 and has proven to be a success for the city of Brampton. Trade Sync is gearing up for the second install phase in 2011.
